A goldendoodle is a hybrid mix between a golden retriever and a poodle. We breed f1b and multigen goldendoodles which are at least 75% poodle and 25% golden retriever. Such a crossing is achieved by breeding an f1 mini goldendoodle to a mini poodle which results in a thick, fluffy, nonshed coat, all in a 15-40 lb package! We are focusing more on developing multigen goldendoodles rather than f1b as we strive to have a more consistent and predictable coat and features much like breeders have done with the Australian Labradoodle. Their coat is a fleecy-wool but tends to have more fluff than curl like the labradoodle. They do require grooming and a good weekly brushing will prevent any matting and remove hair that would otherwise mat if not brushed out. They are very affectionate and love to snuggle!
